Judye has accumulated over 28 years of work experience in Health and Mental Health services spanning a number of professions and fields of practice. This 28 year experience has provided counselling, education and care services to others in a number of diverse cultural contexts in the following areas: Psychology, Challenging Behaviour, Addiction, and Motivational Psychology Psychotherapy Counselling Loss and Grief Therapy, Nursing (Palliative, Aged and Psychiatric) Relaxation and Meditation Training, Youth Education and Leadership Spiritual Counselling and Consulting In 1993 Judye established a successful Private Practice providing Training, Counselling and Psychology Services. Judye’s broad knowledge and training means that individualised and structured therapy is provided including a general plan of treatment. Regardless of the length of treatment all sessions (except single sessions) will include psychometric assessment (as req), clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, course of treatment and evaluation. In addition, a regular mental health check ups for depression and anxiety (say 3 – 6 mthly) following a period of therapy has been helpful for some clients.
